Happy endings, the dream of our dreams, but
perhaps deep down we all know, yet would
never tell a child that there is no such thing.
Claudio and Hero, bound in a bittersweet
marriage of lust will never know the joys
of Beatrice and Benedick, because they are
trapped in the whirlpool of fondness and distrust.
Or the girl who thinks that marriage is the
cure all of her many dimensions of heartache in
life, but will wake up in her wedding bed to
the different struggles, and will not deal.
Happy endings are not the end, for
the bliss of today is the pain of
tomorrow.
