Happy endings, the dream of our dreams, but
perhaps deep down we all know, yet would
never tell a child that there is no such thing.
Claudio and Hero, bound in a bittersweet
marriage of lust will never know the joys
of Beatrice and Benedick, because they are
trapped in the whirlpool of fondness and distrust.
Or the girl who thinks that marriage is the
cure all of her many dimensions of heartache in
life, but will wake up in her wedding bed to
the different struggles, and will not deal.
Happy endings are not the end, for
the bliss of today is the pain of
tomorrow.

A Dolphin Trying To Choose A Mate, But There Are Too Many Options.
The mind spins in an inconsistent
orb around the stars of imagination
weaving a trail of indecisiveness and
decisiveness, like and dislike, it’s the
final test of conscious awareness.

Elements of a Broken Family.
The man with two faces dances
on the waters of insecurity,
as the woman in the golden picture
frame chases butterflies away.
The heart of a child innocent
and true longs for forgiveness,
security, love without shame.
Trapped within the picture frames of
her past, the woman struggles to see
through the dust bowl of her agony.
Searching for true love in a bar,
hollow and cold, the man is stuck
in the indecision of his decision.
As the dew of a charming flower
stands dying in the frozen,
disregarded atmosphere of life.

My Attempt To Express Love
Harsh words may put me to tears,
but sometimes my heart needs a shower.
I feel pain, but effortlessly forget that
upon the symphony I hear when someone
mentions your name. That feeling the
tortoise got when he won the race,
that’s the way I feel
every second that I see your face.
I love you! Perhaps the way
fish brush every molecule of ocean,
monkeys devour bananas,
a pencil and paper breed wonders.
But more, oh so much more.
The way the vast dark space of the
universe mates so perfectly with the sun.
I wish I could express my
love in a better way. You say,
I am grand but without you I'm only
the glass half empty that's longing for more.
but sometimes my heart needs a shower.

The Stone
The stone that's
cloaked by the dirty earth,
shines, glimmers.
A girl's best friend
trying to dance but
is bound, longing, desiring.
In efforts to protect a friend
The stone attempted to stay
Concealed within the pits
of beautiful loneliness.
It moved, unwillingly, to
a greenhouse like
box with see through walls.
Feeling naked, exposed,
for everyone who walks
down the street to see.
The stone can half
blind a wise woman, and
pop out the eyes
of a stupid woman. Its women’s
Achilles’ heel, men know.
A lovesick guy trying to
keep what he might lose
captures it, only to be rejected
by the girl of what he thinks
his dreams are.
